DELIVERY INFORMATION

Ireland & UK Standard Delivery Lead Times

The majority of our items being personalised we have lead times which can be seen below for each type. We aim to complete production of items as quickly as possible. Once items have been produced they will be

dispatched based on the delivery option you choose.

Once you have placed your order we begin the process of personalising your item/s. The personalisation production time varies depending on the type of product. This then affects the total time from placing your order to delivery. Below you will see a guide to the lead times for our most common items.

Production Times

Below is a list of average production times based on product type. This information is just a guideline and may vary from product to product, please see product page for accurate information.

How Deliveries Are Made & To Where

Gifts By Post will deliver the Products ordered by you to the address you give for delivery when you make your order. You may specify a delivery address which is different from your invoice address, if, for example, you would like us to deliver the Products directly to a friend, a relative, or to your place of work.

Heavier items such as the newspaper books are normally sent via a ‘sign-for’ service and urgent deliveries are always ‘sign-for’ service.

Please Note

The above are dispatch/production times, please add 1 to 3 days to above dispatch times for delivery dependent on location and delivery type selected.

1. A day is defined as a working day – Monday to Friday
2. A full day counts on orders placed before 11am (so order received on Tuesday 3pm on 4-day delivery means next Monday.)
3. Next day delivery (where offered) only if order received before 11am.
4. Gifts By Post currently dispatches from 3 factories – so a single order of multiple items may be dispatched separately.
5. P&P charged per ORDER but the order lines must be placed together at the same time, using the same order reference, going to the same address. Some products from separate factories may incur a separate additional delivery charge.
6. Delivery to Non-UK Mainland addresses including the Highlands may take an extra 1-2 days.
7. We cannot deliver to PO Box addresses
8. No alcohol is shipped outside of the EU
9. Please note there may be restrictions regarding size and weight which may require additional shipping charges.
10. Items are not dispatched with any receipt/order information so are perfect to send directly to the recipient.

Delivery Options & Pricing

We offer a variety of shipping options depending on how quickly you need your item, and where you are located. And the weight of the products/order. We ship to Ireland, UK, European, and many other countries.

The final delivery/shipping cost will be calculated when completing your order.

SHIPPING TO IRELAND

Standard Delivery: 2-3 working days after item is produced and dispatched

• Production time on standard delivery orders is 2-3 working days.
• We ship standard Ireland order delivery with An Post.
• The total time from when you place your order to the item being delivered can therefore take up to 5-7 days.
• Unfortunately, we cannot arrange deliver on a specific day through the postal option

SHIPPING TO UK

Standard Delivery: 2-3 working days after item is produced and dispatched

• Production time on standard delivery orders is 2-3 working days.
• We ship standard UK orders with Royal Mail 48.
• The total time from when you place your order to the item being delivered can therefore take up to 5-7 days.
• To receive the item faster, please select Next Day Delivery.

Next-Day Delivery: Next working day

• Next day orders are priority orders and are dispatched on the same day.
• Please note Next Day orders must be received by 1pm.
• Orders placed after this time may be dispatched on the following working day.
• Orders received on weekends will be dispatched on Monday.

We are unfortunately unable to deliver to PO Boxes.

SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY

European Delivery

• We offer special delivery to some European countries.
• Items are shipped with either An Post, Royal Mail or DPD depending on size, weight and delivery location.

Rest of World

• Items are shipped with An Post International or Royal Mail International.
• Please note there may be restrictions regarding size and weight which may require additional shipping charges.
• Our team will contact you if this is the case before your item is produced.
• Please note that you may be required to pay customs charges, depending on which country you live in.

Delivery Issues

In the unlikely event you do not receive products ordered by you within 28 days of the date on which you ordered them; Signature Gifts Limited shall have no liability to you unless you notify Gifts By Post by email at info@giftsbypost.ie of the problem within 20 days of the date on which you ordered the Products.

Unless you have cancelled your order prior to delivery, you will become the owner of the Products once they have been delivered to you. In any case, after delivery they will be held at your own risk and Gifts By Post will not be liable for any loss, damage or destruction to the Products except insofar as it arises from an inherent defect in any of the Products.
